Ingredients:

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 roasted garlic bulb with oil (or substitute with 2 fresh garlic cloves, minced)

  • 2 fresh limes (1 tbsp for marinade, 1 tbsp for garnish)

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 6 tablespoons Flavor Buds Szechuan Hot Honey (3 tbsp for marinade, 3 tbsp for pan sauce)

Instructions:

Step 1: Marinate the Shrimp

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, roasted garlic (or minced fresh garlic), juice of 1 lime, brown sugar, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and 3 tablespoons of Szechuan Hot Honey.

  2. Mix well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 2: Cook the Shrimp

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the marinated shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

  3. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Pan Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining 3 tablespoons of Szechuan Hot Honey.
